IMPORTANT: Genesis Parent Portal Information! 2018-19
The Ewing Public Schools uses Genesis as its student management system. As the district continues to support sustainability initiatives and foster positive school to home communication, we are expanding usage of the Genesis Parent Access.
Currently, district wide, parents complete five (5) “opening of school” forms through the Genesis Parent Access. For the 2018-19 school year, there will be six (6) “opening of school” forms as well as other new features:
Report Card Distribution
Starting with the 2017-18 school year, schedules for students entering grades 9-12 were distributed through the Genesis Parent Access. Parents/students will be able to access 2018-19 student schedules after completing the six (6) required forms as long as the student does not have outstanding fines. After the student pays the outstanding fine in the main office, if one exits, the schedule will be released for viewing through Genesis Parent Access.

Parents need to complete the above forms for each child who is a registered student in the Ewing Public Schools. It is anticipated that the Genesis Parent Access will open mid-August 2018. After completing the six (6) required forms, you will see directions to access the 2018-19 elementary school homeroom assignment, middle school homeroom and team assignment and/or high school student schedule. You will receive a Honeywell Instant Alert when the portal is open the last two weeks of August. EHS students can visit the Guidance Office for a schedule adjustment after the release of student schedules. Directions to update your Honeywell Instant Alert profile are posted on the district website. A letter will be sent home in June with details about how to access the Genesis Parent Access Portal.
