The music room has been busy the past few weeks at Antheil. Besides the students making their own wonderful music, the fifth graders have been able to study the music of several women throughout history that have made their mark on the music scene.
From the chants of Hildegard von Bingen, to the jazz of Ella Fitzgerald and right up to the steps of the Lincoln Memorial with Marian Anderson, there has been something for everyone. This exploration of music that spans over 900 years, has brought about quite a few thumbs up from students as they enjoying music genres they have never heard before.
