EHS Football Standout Honored

D. Ellis EHS Football standout Dayne Ellis was honored by the Delaware Valley Chapter of the National Football Foundation and the College Hall of Fame as Ewing High School’s 2020 Scholar-Leader-Athlete.

“It is a tremendous honor for Dayne to be recognized by teachers, coaches, classmates and teammates for his efforts in the classroom and on the football field,” the organization announced in a released statement. “The Delaware Valley Chapter of the National Football Foundation and College Hall of Fame honored Dayne at our 59th Annual George Wah Awards event in March.”

The versatile lineman has garnered attention for his impressive accomplishments in the classroom and on the gridiron.

“Dayne has been incredibly reliable as he hasn't missed a practice, game, or snap for us,” EHS Head Coach Matt Dalessio stated. “He leads the EHS football graduating class of 2021 with the highest GPA and is a true gentleman and a great young man. Dayne is poised to continue to do great things in life, in college and beyond.”
