A warm welcome back to the Ewing School Community for the 2020-21 school year, a year that promises to be unlike anything we have seen before in our district history.
As GoodNews goes to press, the Board of Education has approved the district’s “Return to School Plan” and the administrative team is working hard to prepare our schools for the opening of the school year.
But things being what they are in this COVID-19 world, plans often change in a hurry, so we wanted to focus on many of the positives that have emerged in our community during this public health crisis.
The school district theme for the 20-21 school year is; “Ewing Strong: All in this Together”and that mantra certainly was embodied in so many actions and efforts over the past six months.
From local groups coming together to provide support to families in need, to teachers going the extra-mile for their students, to stories like EHS Principal Chmiel putting in nine fourteen-hour days to be at every Family Commencement Experience, there are so many examples of Ewing people demonstrating Ewing Pride to help the community through a tough time.
So that will be our focus at Good News this year; continuing to share stories of our students achieving, our staff doing great things and highlighting the outstanding programs we have throughout the Ewing Schools!
Remember to check out our stories here each month, as well as on our district website, Twitter feed and YouTube channel.
