As we navigate this public health crisis, the Ewing Schools Virtual Learning Program kicks-off at 9:00AM on Monday, March 23rd.
From 9:00AM to 1:30PM each day, Google Classroom is your portal to your teachers from all our schools and grade-levels. Here you will find lessons, activities and curricular materials as we provide continuity of instruction during the mandated school shut down.
Also, all Ewing staff members are available from 9:00AM to 1:30PM each school day by email to answer any questions or issues you or any student may have.
All Ewing students from Grades 3-12 have been using Google Classroom and already have a username and password.
Kindergarten through Grade 2 students have now been assigned a Google Classroom username and password.
You can find directions and tutorials to access Google Classroom, Google Hangout and Google Voice posted in the Genesis Parent Portal, the district website and our Twitter feed. Remember to check our website frequently for updates.
Parents should talk with their children about the lessons they did each day, and look for updates from the teacher, school and district. Also remember that our counselors and student support staff members are available for students who have needs.
Students should find a quiet place each day to focus on their lessons and learning and always remember that your teachers are available if you have any questions or problems.
“Hopefully soon we will all be back in school were we belong, but I am confident the Ewing School Community will come together to make this virtual learning experience as meaningful as possible until that happy day,” Superintendent Michael Nitti stated.
