Ewing Schools Community Mourns the Passing of EHS Special Education Teacher Mr. William King

Dear Ewing School Community,

We received the sad news that Ewing High School Special Education Teacher William King suddenly passed away yesterday.

Mr. King has been a teacher at Ewing High School since 2000, and has served as a Class Advisor and a Coach of our very successful Odyssey of the Mind teams.  He was known as a student-centered, good-natured educator who cared deeply about his students, and will be very missed by all.

We are saddened by this loss, and our condolences and sympathies are with Mr. King’s family and friends.  The Ewing School community is grieving with them today.

Ewing High School students were informed of Mr. King’s passing in their classrooms this morning.  We have activated our crisis team at EHS and counselors will be available throughout the day for any staff or student in need of assistance.

We will let the school community know of any arrangements when we become aware of them.

Thank you.

Michael Nitti
