Fisher Middle School 8th Grader Lina Abtouche represented the Ewing Schools at the third annual 8th Grade Day of Dialogue on April 1st held at Lawrence High School and sponsored by the Mercer County School Boards Association.
School Board members and administrators from around Mercer County attended the event, devoted to giving officials a better understanding of student needs and issues as they transition into high school. Eighth graders from schools around the county participated in a panel discussion on topics such as academic pressure, the value of extracurricular activities, and college preparation.
“Lina was an outstanding ambassador of Fisher and the Ewing Public Schools,” Assistant Superintendent Dr. Danita Ishibashi remarked. “We are very appreciative of her efforts in representing our district, and she demonstrated poise and confidence throughout the event.”
