    On occasion, a parent may have a concern, complaint, suggestion or request related to a school decision or policy. Many questions are easily and completely answered by communicating directly with the person in charge of the class or program.     What began with the reading of the book, "The Man with the Violin" by Kathy Stinson, ended with twenty-three students having a better understanding of how a little bit of kindness goes a long way.

  • Parkway IES Teacher, Ms Jamison Retires from Army Reserves

    Parkway EIS teacher, Ann Marie Jamison retired from the Army Reserves on February 28th after serving her country for 21 years. Parkway helped Ms. Jamison celebrate her accomplishment with a surprise indoor parade, in her honor on March 7th.

  • Parkway School Announces 2019 Educator of the Year: Mr. Robert Odri

    The Governor's Teacher and Educational Professionals Recognition Program was developed in 1985 for the purpose of recognizing and honoring teachers and educational professionals who exhibit outstanding performance. The motivation for this program is based on the premise that teaching excellence is one of the most significant factors impacting student achievement and the quality of public schools.

  • EHS Students Return to Parkway for "Panther Pals" Mentoring Program

    Parkway Elementary School and Ewing High School teamed up to launch the "Panther Pals" Schoolwide Title I after school mentoring program. This partnership brings high school volunteers to the PES Extended Day Program to work directly with elementary students on teamwork and social emotional learning through cooperative activities, crafts, and games.

  • Board Game Fridays at Parkway

    Kindergarten students of Parkway School excitedly wait for the first Friday of each month. Their new friends from Bank of America/Merrill Lynch will be arriving to make Fun Fridays a little more fun. A rotating group of six volunteers visit the kindergarten classes to play board games in small groups during the last 45 minutes of the day. The noise level rises as students learn to roll dice, move pieces, take turns, follow directions and celebrate wins.

  • PARKWAY 5TH GRADE STUDENTS ARE STEM-TASTIC!

    The 5th grade at Parkway took part in a Marshmallow STEM challenge. Each group of students was given a marshmallow, 20 pieces of spaghetti, one yard of string, and one yard of tape. The groups were tasked to create the tallest free-standing structure that can hold the marshmallow on top in a given period of time.

  • Parkway Second Graders Share Sweet Gift with Soldiers

    Parkway's second graders participated in a special event that highlighted the �season of giving�, the "Cookies for Troops" event. Second graders packaged hundreds of cookies and created holiday cards for soldiers currently deployed overseas. Additional cards were created by other Parkway students.
