  • Important District Communication: Confirmed COVID-19 Student at Fisher Middle School

    April 26, 2021 4:30PM: We have learned that a Fisher Middle School student has tested positive for Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19). This student was last in Fisher Middle School on Monday, April 19th. All staff and students who have been determined to have possibly been in close contact with this individual have been identified and notified.

  • Release: FMS Staff Member Tests Positive for COVID-19

    We have learned that a Fisher Middle School staff member has tested positive for Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19). As you know, Fisher did not have “in-person” instruction from March 23rd to April 12th. This staff member was in the building briefly on Monday, April 12th. Our trained district COVID-trackers have conducted contact tracing and all individuals who have been determined to have possibly been in close contact with this staff member on Monday have been identified and notified, and will follow quarantine protocols.

  • FMS and EHS Orchestra Classes Welcomed a Special Guest Speaker

  • FMS Sends Four Teams to Odyssey of the Mind Virtual Competition

    The Fisher Middle School Odyssey of the Mind teams participated in a virtual regional tournament this past March. This year Fisher had four teams compete. The teams spent the last few months creating scripts, props and costumes for their eight-minute video. Odyssey of the Mind Coach Liz Butera proudly stated, “All of the teams have done a great job!”

    We have learned of a Fisher Middle School student who has tested positive for Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19). This student was last in Fisher Middle School on Wednesday, March 17th. Our certified contract tracers have investigated this matter and strongly believe this was an outside contagion with little exposure risk at FMS. Never the less, any individuals who have been determined to have possibly been in close contact with this positive case have been identified and notified.

  • FMS Virtual Movie Night a Huge Success

    On Thursday, February 4th, Fisher Middle School students popped some popcorn, grabbed a comfy blanket, and came together for a Virtual Movie Night over a series of Google Meets. In total, around 70 students attended and were spread out over 10 different movie rooms, which were virtually chaperoned by FMS teachers. They were able to choose from movies such as Up, Inside Out, The Goonies, Beauty and the Beast, Soul, The Greatest Showman, Remember the Titans, and Hidden Figures.
