    Recognition Assemblies

It is our belief that students should be honored for their accomplishments that exemplify "Soaring Above & Beyond" what is expected.  Our students' attainments are noted during Recognition Assemblies.  The purpose of each Recognition Assembly is to celebrate pupils who have acquired outstanding achievement in academics, and citizenship.  Those students showing high levels of performance in academic achievement by earning As and Bs in all subjects become members of the Honor Roll.  Those students earning all As become members of the Principal's Honor Roll.  In addition, each marking period, our staff nominated students for the Good Citizenship Award.  These students positively contribute to the Fisher Community by complying with school regulations and respecting all stakeholders.  Fisher also has an incentive program sponsored by The Credit Union of New Jersey.  Smart Kids Rule in Ewing is a reward program that recognizes our Honor Roll students and Students of the Month.  Qualifiers are presented with a gift and become eligible for a drawing held in May.

    Student of the Month

Each month during the school year, teachers nominate students - who by virtue of academic achievement, citizenship, involvement in school activities, and leadership attributes - they feel are worthy of the honor of Student of the Month.  They receive an engraved plaque and have their name placed in the school lobby on the "Student of the Month Recognition Board."
