Emergency School Closings
Weather conditions or the loss of utility services (heat, water or electric) can mean a delayed opening, the closing of schools or an early dismissal. The decision to delay or close the schools is made as early as possible. A message will be posted on the district phone system (609) 538-9800, the website, Channels 19/31, and an Instant Alert message will sent.
Should there be a delayed opening, all students are to report to school 1 hour and 30 minutes later than normal. Do not drop your child off at school at the usual time as there may not be sufficient staff for supervision.
If your child will take the bus to school on a DELAYED OPENING, the bus will arrive at the bus stop 1 hour and 30 minutes after the normal scheduled pick-up time. (Please remember to be at your bus stop 10 minutes before the scheduled bus pick-up time.)
