Free and Reduced Price Meals
FREE AND REDUCED PRICE MEALS
Students who attended Ewing Twp. Schools in 2022-2023, who were eligible for Free or Reduced Price Meals in June 2023 via a meal app or Snap approved will continue receiving those benefits for the first 30 school days through October 20,2023 or until a new application is determined. Please note that kindergarteners or other new students will NOT automatically be extended the free or reduced price benefits for their household. Parents/guardians should plan to complete a new application or contact the Food Service Office before the opening of school.
A 2023-2024 application can be keyed in on-line or a paper copy submitted to the Food Service Office on or before Thursday, October 20th or students who were free/reduced from last school year will be classified as full price for meals beginning Friday, October 21st. Applications may be submitted at any time during the school year, however, free or reduced price benefits do not begin until after the application is determined.
The 2023-2024 application packet is now available below! Parents/Guardians may apply on-line by following the link below. Your meal status will be determined immediately! A fill-to-print application is also available below. Additionally, applications are available through the Genesis Parent portal or at any school, guidance office, or Food Service Department. Interested parents/guardians should complete one application for all the children in their household. Completed paper applications should be returned to the Food Service Office at the Gusz Building, 220 Ewingville Road.
Payschoolscentral can be used to put money on account AND fill out a free/reduced meal application on the same website using the same log in information. This website is http://www.payschoolscentral.com.
Benefits for Foster Children: Be sure to read the instructions on the application. If you submit a current "Resource Family Parent Identification Letter" (DYFS 5-49) to the Food Service Office, it will not be necessary to complete an application for your foster child(ren) for the school year.
Direct Certification Letters are emailed/mailed as processed. If a DC letter is received, it is not necessary to complete a 2023-2024 application; the students listed will automatically receive free meal. If all students in the household are NOT named in the letter(s), a copy of the letter must be returned to the Food Service Office with the missing student's name(s) listed, so they can also receive free meals.
