Sustainable Jersey for Schools

The Ewing Public Schools District Green Team

As part of its entry into the Sustainable Jersey, The Ewing Public School has formed a Sustainability Leadership Team, commonly referred to as a 'Green Team' that consists of district administrative leaders who will guide participation and shape programs, based on the framework provided by Sustainable Jersey for Schools.

These Green Team members will help schools adopt policies and practices addressing areas such as sustainability education and professional training, green purchasing, waste reduction, indoor air quality, energy-saving initiatives and community partnerships.

The Green Team meets monthly to discuss issues related to the Sustainable Jersey program and district “green” initiatives.

Any thoughts, ideas or concerns related to the district’s Sustainability Jersey program can be shared at the following: etpsgreenteam@ewingboe.org .
