This site provides an overview of our K-12 curriculum, offering transparency and access to support student growth and achievement. Aligned with the New Jersey Student Learning Standards, our curriculum is dynamic and responsive, ensuring students are prepared for success in the 21st century.

  • Course Description: A summary of the course, outlining its purpose, key topics, and the knowledge and skills students will develop. This provides an overview of what students can expect to learn and how the course fits within the broader curriculum.
  • Unit Calendar: A timeline displaying the sequence and duration of instructional units throughout the school year. This helps teachers and stakeholders understand the pacing and organization of the curriculum.
  • Standards: The specific New Jersey Student Learning Standards (or other applicable standards) that each course and unit aim to address. These standards outline the knowledge and skills students are expected to achieve.
  • Resources: Resources are the tools we use to introduce, reinforce and engage our students in learning. In our classrooms, "resources" include a broad range of materials designed to support, enrich, and personalize your child's education:
  • Core Instructional Materials: These are the primary tools used to teach daily lessons, such as state-aligned textbooks, comprehensive reading programs, and guided math tools.
  • Digital & Technology Tools: This includes educational software, interactive learning apps, digital subscriptions, and online databases that provide adaptive, modern learning experiences.
  • Supplemental Materials: Teachers use extra tools like leveled library books, science lab supplies, math manipulatives (like blocks or counters), and specialized articles to reinforce or extend a lesson.
  • Diverse Media: To support all learning styles, classrooms utilize educational videos, audiobooks, primary historical documents, and visual charts.

All of our resources are carefully reviewed and selected by our educators to ensure they align with the New Jersey Student Learning Standards (NJSLS) and meet the diverse needs of all our learners.
