- Create a Sustainable Environment for Staff Morale Enhancement:
Objective: Implement a targeted professional development program focused on promoting staff well-being, job satisfaction, and fostering a positive work environment.
- Enhancing Educational Equity and Resource Allocation:
Objective: Initiate a comprehensive district-wide assessment of resource allocation and practices to ensure equitable distribution across all schools. Additionally, examine the implementation of district initiatives, compare and contrast leadership actions to ascertain consistency, and assess alignment with reliability standards and grade-level expectations.
3. Strengthening Curriculum and Professional Development:
Objective: Conduct a comprehensive review of resources for all curriculum and instructional practices in the District. We are aiming to ensure a cohesive and effective educational experience for all leading to improved performance outcomes. Curricular Example: Target Elementary Language Arts in the first phase, ensuring adequacy and relevance. Develop and implement an integrated reading and writing curriculum, addressing the specific curriculum needs identified across schools. Provide targeted professional development opportunities for educators to support effective curriculum (based on the comprehensive review) delivery. Ensure the alignment of special education and regular education curricula across all schools.
4. Optimizing Academic (RTI) and Behavioral Support Systems (PBSIS):
Objective: Implement a multi-faceted approach to optimize academic and behavioral intervention and support systems; RTI (Response to Intervention). This may include revising report cards, establishing consistent PBSIS plans with appropriate consequences for behavioral issues. Investment in additional support specialists, such as Behavioral Specialist(s) to provide resources and recommendations for our staff.
