      2015-2016 Athletic Highlights

       

      The Football team, under Coach Besler, saw two players selected for the Trenton Times All-Area Team; Seniors Joshua Hughes Offense and Kyrie Turner Defense.

    • The Boy’s Soccer team, under Coaches Parry & Zablow saw Sophomore Kameron Clark selected for the 3rd team, Trenton Times All-CVC.
    • In Girls Soccer, under Coach Reynolds, Kellyann Krepp was selected to the Mercer 33 Team and 3rd Team All-CVC. 
    • Sophomores Jamie Ervin and Mary Bystrycki were selected for the 3rd Team All-CVC.
     

     

    • The Boys Basketball Team, under Coach Dearden, was named the CVC Patriot Division Champions and Central Jersey Group III finalists.
    • Senior Justin Porter was selected for the 1st teams of the Trentonian All-CVC, All-CVC Coaches Association and the All-Holiday Tournament in addition to being named to the Mercer County CYO All-Star Team.
    • Senior Deon Hale was selected the CVC Player of the Year, 1st Team All-Area, All-CVC and All-CVC Coaches Association as well as to the Mercer County CYO All-Star Team.  In addition, Deon was selected for the 3rd Team All-State Group III.
    • Junior Jonathon Azoroh was selected for the 1st Team All-CVC and Holiday Tournament and 2nd Team All-CVC by the Trentonian and Coaches Association.
    • Junior Edmyion Doggett received Honorable mention All-CVC by the Trentonian.

    • Sophomores Keyshawn Preston, Tyler Bell, Ryan Conde, Dominic Salvatore, Kameron Clark & Derrick Long.
    • Team Managers were Juniors Gianna Gollinge, Sophomores Yuri Youngblood and A’irrion Scott.

     

     

    • The Girls Basketball Team, under Coach Reynolds, had several players named to the Trenton Times All CVC Teams. Sophomore Mya Grimes was selected for the 1st Team, Junior Cayla Sexton to the 2nd Team and Senior Rayanna Peterson to the 3rd Team. Coach Michael Reynolds was named the Trenton Times Girls Coach of the Year. The team won the CVC Patriot Division and finished 2nd in the Mercer County Girls Basketball Tournament.

    • Sophomores Chantell Gillette, Julianna Murrill, Kiyla Peterson Stephanie Gbogboade

    • The Girl’s Bowling Team, under the direction of Coach Angebrandt, who finished 3rd out of 23 teams at the Olympic Conference Winter Classic on December 16th.  In addition, the girl’s finished 2nd out of 14 teams at the Burlington County Open.  The Girls finished the season with an 18 and 0 record claiming its 2nd Burlington County Scholastic Conference title in a row.
    • 5 bowlers were selected to the Burlington County Scholastic League 1st Team All-Stars; Senior Brianna Jobst, Juniors Raquel Sparano & Kaitlyn Leahy
    • Sophomores Kayla Ricketts & Korin Ricketts
    • Freshmen Louisa Scozarro & Amelia Baffuto
    • Also selected to the Burlington County Scholastic League 1st Team All-Stars from the Boy’s Bowling Team were Juniors John Zaggi & Reese Hunt.

       
     
    • Junior William Cobb received the Sportsmanship Award for Ice Hockey (Our co-op with WWPN)

     
    • The winter track team, under the direction of Coach Cheeseman competed in the Group 2 State Sectional Championship and Junior Ciara Miller placed 2nd in the 55 meter dash.

       
    • Coach Dalessio’s Wrestling Team’s Sophomore Wayne Staub was crowned Mercer County 106 pound Champion and placed 3rd in the District 17 tournament. Wayne was selected for the Trenton Times 1st Team (106 pounds) All-CVC and the Trentonian 1st Team All-Area 106 pounder. There were also strong performances by Sophomore Mark Rogers, placing 3rd in the 220 pound weight class and Sophomore Lavinsky Collins taking a very close second place in the 145 pound weight class at the Mercer County Tournament.
