Lori Amison609-538-9800 x 3145Mrs. Amison is a Licensed Professional Counselor (L.P.C.) in the state of NJ. She has a Masters Degree in Counseling from The College of NJ and is certified as a Master Addictions Counselor (M.A.C.), National Certified Counselor (N.C.C.), and Substance Awareness Coordinator (S.A.C.).Mrs. Amison has been employed as the Student Assistance Counselor (S.A.C.) for the Ewing Twp. Public Schools since 1998. Prior to that, she worked in the private sector as a Substance Abuse Counselor.Her current position as Student Assistance Counselor (S.A.C.) involves providing Substance Abuse Assessments, Individual, Group, and Family Counseling for all “at-risk” students, as well as for students affected by another person’s substance use (family or friend), and making referrals to community agencies.Students may be referred by a guidance counselor, teacher, parent or friend, may seek services on their own, or may be referred due to a violation of the school’s Substance Abuse Policy. Even someone who is simply looking for information regarding substance abuse may consult with the S.A.C.
