Free and Reduced-Price MealsApplication and information in English and Spanish are at this end of the pageStudents who attended Ewing Twp. Schools in 2018-2019, who were eligible for Free or Reduced Price Meals in June 2019 will continue receiving those benefits for the first 30 school days or until a new application is determined. Please note that kindergarteners or other new students will NOT automatically be extended the free or reduced price benefits for their household. Parents/guardians should plan to complete a new application or contact the Food Service Office before the opening of school.A 2019-2020 application must be submitted to the Food Service Office before Thursday, October 17th or the returning students will pay full price for meals beginning Friday, October 18th. Applications may be submitted at any time during the school year, however, free or reduced price benefits do not begin until after the application is determined.A 2019-2020 application packet will be available by mid August. Parents/Guardians may apply on-line by following the link below. Your meal status will be determined immediately. A fill-to-print application is also available below. Additionally, applications will be mailed to each household in August . Interested parents/guardians should complete one application for all the children in their household. Completed paper applications should be returned to the Food Service Office.
The program that the district uses for parents to put money on their students account (Payschools) just informed the disrict July 2, 2019 that parents can now put money on account AND fill out a free/reduced meal application on the same website using the same log in information. This website is http://www.payschoolscentral.com.Benefits for Foster Children: Be sure to read the instructions on the application. If you submit a current "Resource Family Parent Identification Letter" (DYFS 5-49) to the Food Service Office, it will not be necessary to complete an application for your foster child(ren) for the school year.Direct Certification Letters are to be mailed by mid August. If a DC letter is received, it is not necessary to complete a 2019-2020 application; the students listed will automatically receive free meal. If all students in the household are NOT named in the letter(s), a copy of the letter must be returned to the Food Service Office with the missing student's name(s) listed, so they can also receive free meals.
