*******PLEASE NOTE - IMPORTANT!****** We still encourage all families to complete a 2021-2022 meal application to have on file in the event the state requests information from the district for their EBT program that is for those who are determined free or reduced via an app or through SNAP/Foster (through NJ).Students who attended Ewing Twp. Schools in 2020-2021, who were eligible for Free or Reduced Price Meals in June 2021 via a meal app or Snap approved will continue receiving those benefits for the first 30 school days or until a new application is determined. Please note that kindergarteners or other new students will NOT automatically be extended the free or reduced price benefits for their household. Parents/guardians should plan to complete a new application or contact the Food Service Office before the opening of school.A 2021-2022 application should be keyed in on-line or a paper copy submitted to the Food Service Office on or before Tuesday, October 20th or students who were free/reduced from last school year will be classified as full price for meals beginning Wednesday, October 21st. Applications may be submitted at any time during the school year, however, free or reduced price benefits do not begin until after the application is determined.The 2021-2022 application packet will be available soon! Parents/Guardians may apply on-line by following the link below. Your meal status will be determined immediately. A fill-to-print application is also available below. Additionally, applications will be mailed to each household in August who has not already been determined. Interested parents/guardians should complete one application for all the children in their household. Completed paper applications should be returned to the Food Service Office at 220 Ewinville Road.
Payschoolscentral can be used to put money on account AND fill out a free/reduced meal application on the same website using the same log in information. This website is http://www.payschoolscentral.com.Benefits for Foster Children: Be sure to read the instructions on the application. If you submit a current "Resource Family Parent Identification Letter" (DYFS 5-49) to the Food Service Office, it will not be necessary to complete an application for your foster child(ren) for the school year.Direct Certification Letters are to be mailed by mid August. If a DC letter is received, it is not necessary to complete a 2021-2022 application; the students listed will automatically receive free meal. If all students in the household are NOT named in the letter(s), a copy of the letter must be returned to the Food Service Office with the missing student's name(s) listed, so they can also receive free meals.
