The Ewing Public Schools is one of only 433 school districts in the U.S. and Canada being honored by the College Board with placement on the 7th Annual AP® District Honor Roll for increasing access to AP course work while simultaneously maintaining or increasing the percentage of students earning scores of 3 or higher on AP Exams. Perhaps most significant is that this is the second consecutive year the Ewing Schools have received this honor, a rare occurrence.
On March 20th, at the regular Board of Education Meeting held in Fisher Middle School’s auditorium, Superintendent Michael Nitti and School Business Administrator Dennis Nettleton will present the 2017-18 Preliminary School Budget to the public. After the presentation, the preliminary budget will be forwarded for approval by the Board, and then sent to the Mercer County Office of the Department of Education for their review and sanctioning. Ewing’s Special Olympics Bowling Team took home quite a haul at the Mercer County Tournament held at the iconic Curtis Lanes earlier this month, walking away with nine gold medals, five silver medals, and a bronze. Sustainable Jersey for Schools and the New Jersey Education Association announced that Antheil Elementary School has been awarded a Sustainable Jersey for Schools capacity-building grant.
